The meeting was co-chaired by the Assistant Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Sector for Financial Planning and Coordination of International Economic Assistance, Ms. Aleksandra Kovačević, and the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ms. Arnhild Spence.

The DCF meeting was focused on strengthening the partnership between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Nations in the field of sustainable development for the period 2026–2030, with a special focus on further alignment of development priorities and enhancement of joint action in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

With regard to the coordination of international economic assistance, particular emphasis was placed on the alignment and management of financial and investment activities between the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and international donors and creditors. The importance of transparent and balanced distribution of development funds throughout the entire territory of the country – in Republika Srpska, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Brčko District – was emphasized.

During the “tour de table” segment, development partners, representatives of embassies, international organizations, and financial institutions presented current and planned projects, exchanged experiences, and highlighted key challenges and guidelines for the forthcoming period.

The Forum was attended by Their Excellencies Ambassadors, Minister Counsellors, First Secretaries of embassies, as well as directors of domestic and international institutions, which further confirms the significance and institutional importance of this event.

The Ministry of Finance and Treasury of Bosnia and Herzegovina continues to actively contribute to processes that strengthen institutional cooperation and support the achievement of the development goals of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
